Volunteer for The Atlanta Falcons
As a marketing partner and volunteer with the Atlanta Falcons, we get to attend all home games, network with the Falcon's top Marketing Leaders, and attain practical work experience for our futures. This is an excellent opportunity to gain access into a career in sports marketing. Club memebers will gain valuable experience in survey and data collection, as well as being able to analyze data for various purposes.
Corporate Visits
Throughout the year, UWG AMA visits several corporate headquarters. At these meet-and-greets, UWG AMA members are introduced to each corporation's top leaders, given a tour of the facilities, departments, operations, etc., and have lunch with members of the corporation. This is an unique experience that gives our UWG AMA members a "foot-in-the-door" at those big-named companies.
Annual Collegiate Conference
Lecture Series!

Throughout the year, the UWG AMA will be preparing for the Annual Collegiate Conference that occurs around Spring Break. It is where AMA Collegiate Chapters from all across the nation compete with other colleges for various competitions throughout the United States! This conference is the climax of our year, and a great opportunity to showcase everything we have been involved in throughout the year!
Dr. David Nickell, Lecturer at UWG, and the Marketing Department host a Marketing Lecture Series in which students are able to come listen to guest speakers present on various marketing topics. Most professors offer extra credit to attend such events, and students also get the opportunity to network with the speakers. Students are picked at random to go out to eat with speakers after the lecture, which gives students an excellent opportunity to network.
